Bayer and National 4‑H Council have teamed up to create the Science Matters program to drive 25,000 youth to a pathway that will increase their understanding of how science connects to their food, animals and health; spark their interest in agri-science careers; and empower them with the skills and support to show their communities just how much science matters.

BOGS° Footwear and National 4‑H Council are taking a step FOURWARD in support of all 4‑H youth. Custom 4‑H branded boots are available now in a variety of styles for men, women and kids. For each pair of these BOGS boots sold, $5 will be donated to support 4-H'ers across the country in everything they do.
Charles Schwab
National 4-H Council and the Charles Schwab Foundation are working together to empower youth through growing financial literacy. Leveraging CLOVER by 4-H, dedicated educator trainings, and a signature financial literacy program, 4H and Charles Schwab are coming together to bring financial empowerment resources and education to young people and families across the country, with a focus on underserved communities. The Charles Schwab Foundation is also bringing financial literacy to life through engagement and education at Ignite by 4-H.
CHS Foundation
To help grow the talent pipeline for future agri-science careers, CHS Foundation teamed up with 4‑H to help more youth experience and learn about today’s agriculture. Through hands-on-learning opportunities, youth are equipped with the tools to make positive change in their communities through unique, localized community action plans.

Council partners with Crayola Flowers, a fundraising platform where consumers can purchase floral bouquets while supporting their favorite nonprofit (4-H!). When consumers select 4-H as their nonprofit of choice, 10% of their purchase goes back to Council. Corteva Agriscience has partnered with National 4‑H Council and Pheasants Forever to engage 4‑H youth in helping increase pollinator habitats and populations at select Corteva locations throughout the United States. These habitats will support biodiversity while providing opportunities to strengthen pollinator education. The 4‑H Pollinator Habitat Program contributes to growing youth with the awareness, passion and skills to be responsible stewards of our planet for years to come.

Georgia Boot, America’s Hardest Working Boot is supporting America’s hardest working kids! Georgia Boot believes every kid should have the opportunity to be #GeorgiaBootStrong and believes in creating #Opportunity4All through the hands-on learning experiences that 4‑H offers to help build confidence, creativity, leadership and resiliency, shaping future leaders.
4‑H and Google are coming together to bring hands-on, cutting edge computer science education to kids and teens across the country. Made possible by a $1.5 million grant from Google.org, 4‑H and Google are building a Computer Science Career Pathway for the six million youth we serve each year. In its first year, the program will reach an estimated 100,000 youth across 22 states.
The collaboration gives 4‑H educators the tools, resources and expertise they need to teach kids technical computer science skills like coding and essential skills for the future like computational thinking, teamwork, problem-solving and resilience.
Hughesnet
Through 4‑H’s work with HughesNet we are making quality STEM experiences accessible to all youth and are inspiring future leaders in STEM. Together we celebrate passionate and diverse 4‑H teen leaders through the 4‑H Youth in Action program who champion STEM education for all and lead STEM in their communities. These leaders become mentors for younger youth across the country through their roles as youth spokespeople in STEM. A few of these inspiring young people include the 2018 YIA winner, Cassey Ivie, who leads STEM clubs in underserved communities in her home town and the 2019 STEM YIA winner, Clyde Van Dyke, a Hispanic/African American youth from a rural community who is helping solve pressing community issues through GIS mapping.
JOANN
JOANN stores are connecting more young people to experiences where they can learn by doing, creating & making. By providing local 4‑H Clubs with resources and tools to run impactful programs, JOANN brings the 4‑H experience to more kids in need. JOANN supports National 4‑H Council through a combination of customer donations and year-round sales with the JOANN 4‑H Rewards Card and custom 4‑H fabric.
Land O'Lakes
Land O’Lakes is a farmer-owned cooperative that works within rural communities across the country to realize their full potential and supports National 4‑H Council in honor of World Milk Day annually. Together, Land O’Lakes and 4‑H celebrate farmers, near and far, for the hard work they do and the impact they have on communities around the world.
Margaret A Cargill
Margaret Ann Cargill Philanthropies generously supports CAMP – Capital and Access to Maximize Participation in 4‑H resident camps and environmental education experiences. Reaching over 1,600 youth annually, this award provides access scholarships for low-income youth, particularly vulnerable populations. In addition, barriers to access for youth experiencing trauma, physical disability, and other needs requiring adaptations to facilities are being eliminated with capital investments to ensure that all are welcomed and experience belonging through 4‑H camp.
Microsoft
National 4‑H Council and Microsoft are working together through the 4‑H Tech Changemakers program to empower 4‑H teens in 91 communities across 15 states to lead digital skills trainings, teach the value of digital tools and find technological solutions to real world problems. Through the program 4‑H teens learn how to engage community stakeholders, teach digital skills classes, and work with underserved populations in their communities including Veterans, Native Americans, refugees, Latinos and African-Americans, and people with disabilities.
National University
National University is a private university with its headquarters in San Diego, California. Founded in 1971, National University offers academic degree programs at campuses throughout California, a satellite campus in Nevada, and various programs online. Programs at National University are designed for adult learners. On-campus classes are typically blended learning courses, concentrated to four weeks or on weeknights with occasional Saturday classes. The university uses asynchronous learning and real-time virtual classrooms for its online programs.

National 4‑H Council is working with the S.D. Bechtel Jr. Foundation to enhance our evaluation tool, Common Measures, ensuring we continue to bring the highest level of positive youth development programming to young people across the country to build their character.
Smithsonian Institution
4-H and the Smithsonian are providing increased opportunities for young people to learn, explore, and gain access to civic and cultural experiences through a variety of shared resources and activations such as visits to Smithsonian museums, national 4-H events, digital storytelling projects, and online content.
4-H’ers from across the country can participate locally and online in project-based learning through different programming, including Museum on Main Street (MoMS), an outreach program from the Smithsonian that brings traveling exhibitions, educational resources, and programming to towns across the U.S.
In addition, youth attending National 4-H Council’s annual events—Ignite by 4-H, True Leaders in Equity Institute, and Citizen Washington Focus—will receive guided tours and participate in learning sessions centered around themes in democracy and civics, diversity, equity, access & inclusion, STEM, and careers at five Smithsonian museums.

4-H Partners with Solvet to grow the next generation of innovative leaders. With funds donated to 4-H from the sale of each LidoBand™ , together, Solvet and 4-H are helping to change the game and create opportunity 4 all kids.
Tractor Supply Company
Tractor Supply Company, the nation's largest rural lifestyle retailer, is committed to growing true leaders. Tractor Supply’s fundraising efforts, including the bi-annual Paper Clover Promotion that invites customers to donate at checkout, have raised over $20 million for National 4‑H Council and local 4‑H programs across the country. Tractor Supply’s long-standing tradition of giving back to the communities it serves is fostering confidence and competence in tomorrow’s leaders.
Walmart
National 4‑H Council has teamed up with the Walmart Foundation to launch Youth Voice: Youth Choice, an exciting national program that encourages young people to develop and maintain healthy, active lifestyles in support of the Healthy Living mission. In 2009-2010, 15 4‑H statewide grantee programs, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico, reached 31,066 youth and adults.
Wellness Connected Communities
Extension’s Well Connected Communities initiative helps build diverse, multigenerational, cross-sector coalitions that can recognize and address systemic health inequities to ensure that life-long health and well-being are within everyone’s reach. Well Connected Communities is an initiative of the Cooperative Extension System in partnership with National 4‑H Council, with the support of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the nation’s largest philanthropy dedicated solely to health.
Verizon
National 4‑H Council is partnering with Verizon to provide digital skills training to adults in rural communities through the 4‑H Tech Changemakers program. Working with nine Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), all land-grant institutions, the program will credential teens in the communities to provide training that is expected to empower 15,000 adults with basic digital skills needed for jobs, education, banking and healthcare by the end of the year.
